The photograph of a woman from the 19th century has been retouched with embroidery work. The idea behind this is to explore how women pursued artworks like embroidery when they had fewer options and lesser intellectual stimulation. They sewed and stiched floral patterns with leaves and other natural elements. Even in somebody with little exposure, the imagination can fetch vivid images of the natural world.
