The painting shows the flying pattern of the hummingbirds. Their flight has ups and it has downs very much like life itself. All life is constantly in transition, from one phase to another, from one place to another. This particular piece “chasing stars” embodies a greater purpose and ironically, hummingbirds are the smallest of birds. So the takeaway here would be to keep flying, regardless of one’s stature.
