The Dance by Henri Matisse (click for more)

Among other forms of self expression dance is almost involuntary and instinctive. It’s the body’s natural language and this painting emphasizes on just that. It’s a raw portrayal of nude women circling around together in a joyous dance. In their natural state they are immersed in festivities and the present moment. The idea is crude yet universal.
