Proud Roses

When our love is rejected by someone it is very much like being attracted to a rose with thorns. As we go near to hold, smell and pluck it, it pricks us, hurting our body and breaking our heart. Roses are the ultimate proud beauty of flowers but they keep their admirers at bay by giving them a prick.
