Hues in the Sky

The Adriatic Coast by Richard Parkes Bonington (Click for more)

The skies look most beautiful when they have an ocean to reflect them. Their shades of blue are blended with the blues of the water and the only boundary is the horizon. The painting of the adriatic coast has tried to capture that very instant in which the sky is like the water and the clouds like the waves. The grays and blues bidding the day farewell and announcing the arrival of a long dark night.
