"Forever Green" 2023 Poster Calendar (30 inches x 30 inches)

Capillary Action is a process in which a liquid flows against gravity. Human beings rely on the electric motors to raise water from one level to the other. Plants, however, use capillary action to propel water and other nutritions through their narrow channels. In this artwork, Ümair Zia reveals the network of such narrow channels that perform capillary action inside a leaf; a reminder for the humanity to re-learn form the magical processes of nature.
